Hello! I was right there with you on the Joomla!. It was so not user friendly and just a pain. I couldn't imagine having to navigate a system easily if the entire site can crash just because one article gets deleted or something gets edited incorrectly. Hopefully the future library I work in does not have these struggles! You're in the home stretch though!
