I decided to do a Wiki on the university library of a university campus close to me in Ghana. My father is part of the faculty at the university, he teaches entomology, and I spent most of my childhood on the university campus. The University of Ghana, Legon is one of the major universities in the country and it is also one of the oldest.
The library is an academic library that serves the entire student body of the university and the faculty and staff, as well as the university research teams who may or may not be teaching faculty. Some of the researchers are teaching faculty and others are just working as part of a research team for the university.
I was completely clueless about this assignment and it took me forever to find the right wiki and make it work for me. I settled on wikispaces after I read a small piece about wikis I saw classmate use had used wikispaces, and I read that it was mostly used for academic purposes.
