Second Post!!!

So I have eight views so far... Interesting! I wonder who those mysterious eight could be? Don't just look, leave comments, talk to me!! Anyway, I have always been a private person but I am enjoying myself here. Blogging isn't so bad after all...

I realize I haven't actually talked about myself, so here goes:

I am a first year MLIS student at Valdosta State University, I got my Bachelor's in Psychology from Georgia State University in 2011. I am hoping to finish in December of  2015 or May 2016, and start out in the field as a Librarian. I used to think I was such a computer and technology whiz when I was younger but lately I feel like I am a century behind when it comes to current technology, hopefully I will catch up soon.

I love to read, have fun, shop, and do a lot of random things that I cannot mention, yet. I just think it is a bit to early to share my slight craziness with the world. But I like to think I am well rounded and open minded with a dash of humorous craziness.

And I find myself rambling and so, I will end on this note.

Until the next couple of hours...

  1. Hello Korkor,

Every time I see my number of views, I think the same thing! I used to work at Georgia State University. The university certainly embraces technology. That always suited my techy heart. I am taking the Technology track in the program. I must say I thought I was pretty on top of the technology out there but this course has already shown me that I've missed a lot. I think that is the trademark of technology. You learn and advance in current technology and then five more pop up. I subscribe to some tech feeds on Twitter. That certainly helps!

    Nice post. :)

  2. Hey Korkor,
I have the same feeling when it comes to technology. It seems that there is so much to keep up with, that if you know all you can in one area, then you leave out a bunch of others. I occasionally like using Macs just because they can be so different from PCs, but then Windows goes and changes... Now I'm in Windows 8, what happened to my DOS? (rhetorical, but it was a shock when I was 12 to learn that Windows was leaving DOS behind.)
